The National Defense Industrial Association (http://www.ndia.org/) is America’s leading defense industry association promoting National Security. Its mission is to advocate for cutting-edge technology; superior weapons, equipment, training, and support for the War-Fighter and First Responder. The Association also promotes a vigorous, responsive, Government – Industry National Security Team as well as an avenue to provide a legal and ethical forum for exchange of information between Industry and Government on National Security issues.


 

NDIA provides its members and government customers broad outreach and sector coverage through its chapters; technical, policy, and war-fighting divisions; and the complimentary missions of its affiliate subsidiaries. These affiliates are; The National Training and Simulation Association (NTSA), the Association for Enterprise Integration (AFEI), the Precision Strike Association (PSA), and Women In Defense (WID).


 

An active member of the local community, the Chapter provides a forum in which government and industry can develop strong ties and address common issues through open communications. The Chapter is a prime avenue for providing industry perspectives to government customers. The Chapter also has an active scholarship program for undergraduate college students.

The Rocky Mountain Chapter of the NDIA is pleased to announce the Colorado Springs Procurement Technical Assistance Center. (PTAC)

 

The PTAC mission is to significantly increase the number of capable businesses participating in federal, state, country and municipal government contracting across the State of Colorado.

 

This involves providing advice and information to businesses across a broad spectrum of registration support, business development, finding bidding opportunities, proposal guidance on Request for Proposal responses, contract management and more.
