Information:

This year’s Ball will occur on 22 October 2010 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. The black-tie (Mess Dress) Ball is considered a “widely attended gathering” and military and government civilians are invited through written invitation to participate as the guests of NDIA. The NDIA host for the evening will be T.I. Weintraub, President of the Rocky Mountain Chapter.


The evening will start at 1800 with a reception in the Crowne Plaza Hotel. The reception will be followed by the Ball in the Crowne Plaza Ballroom at 1900. The Hartinger Award presentation and Patriot Award presentation program will start at 2100 and last no more than an hour. Dancing will follow the program. Valet parking will be available at the east side entrance to the Hotel.

 

While the Chapter has long been focused on military space activities, and to that end has bestowed the General James V. Hartinger Award for the past 25 years on senior officer and civilians that have made extraordinary contributions to America’s military space program. Named for the first Commander of Air Force Space Command, the award has been given to such individuals as General James V. Hartinger, General Colin Powell, Gen Thomas Moorman, and Mr. Jeffery Harris.

The award is presented at the annual Flags of Freedom Ball. In 2010, the Rocky Mountain Chapter will present the Patriot Award recognizing outstanding service men and women from all parts and services in the Colorado Springs area.

Table Sales/Individual Sales:
Tables, with seating for ten, may be reserved for $1,900. This price includes a donation to cover the cost of four military guests at your table. We encourage you to sign up for your table(s) as soon as possible. The reservation cut-off date is October 8th 2010. You may request more than one table, but multiple tables will not be assigned until each company submitting an on-time request before October 8, 2010 has been allocated at least one table.

 

Individual NDIA members may also purchase up to two individual seat tickets for $225 each.

 

VIP Seats:
• Companies purchasing a table may also purchase two additional tickets for a senior executive and spouse/ guest to be seated at a VIP table with senior military guests and their spouses.

• The tickets cost $400 each and include admission to our VIP Reception to be held prior to the general reception. Because of seating limitations, we must limit each company to two tickets, regardless of the total number of tables reserved.

• VIP seats are intended for the sole use of the senior executive and his/her guest only (spouse/significant other and not another member of the company please. Companies receiving VIP Seats as part of a sponsorship purchase may not purchase addition VIP Seats.

The Rocky Mountain Chapter of the NDIA is pleased to announce the Colorado Springs Procurement Technical Assistance Center. (PTAC)

 

The PTAC mission is to significantly increase the number of capable businesses participating in federal, state, country and municipal government contracting across the State of Colorado.

 

This involves providing advice and information to businesses across a broad spectrum of registration support, business development, finding bidding opportunities, proposal guidance on Request for Proposal responses, contract management and more.
